Lovely looking plot. Hopefully mine will be half as abundant once it settles in.

Interesting about the wild bees Vs honey bees, that might be why we are getting bigger strawberry yields this year as there are far fewer honey bees in our garden compared to previous years.

Same here - fewer honey bees until last week when two swarms arrived and occupied the empty hives in one of our fields, the beekeeper had lost his colonies over winter so he is happy now

Love your small vegetable garden Sally and the diversity of flowers in it. I've noticed a shift in recent years in our allotments, with many more plots mixing more flowers in with the veg. Ten years ago it used to be very much lines of leeks, beetroot and potatoes, but now a lot more diversity and more ponds (we have newts in ours) - which is nice to see. Like you, we also have loads of self seeding borage, pot marigold, aquilegia and nasturtiums on our plot. Also never have to sow orach or tree spinach as it pops up everywhere - some I thin but a lot I leave, too.
