Make your own potting composts and a seed sowing experiment
Do you buy bags of potting compost / mixes? Why not make your own from readily available ingredients? And do you use a commercial seed sowing compost? What about trying something experimental?

The warm, sunny ‘summer-style’ weather has continued and much as I love being out in the sun, its not weather my plants are enjoying. Look at this screen grab from my weather station – fluctuating wildly, soaring above 20C during the heat of the day, and dipping towards freezing at night.
